Here's how it works
The five-year batting average tracks the percentage of listings an agent has closed over the past five years, excluding the last six months. The listing effectiveness grade, in contrast, measures how well an agent has handled current listings over the past 3-18 months. By viewing these metrics side by side, you can spot-check agent performance over time, see rising stars and isolate agents who would benefit from coaching.
For example, some agents may score a higher listing effectiveness grade over a five-year batting average, highlighting recent improvements. These agents are trending upward. Flip it over and you have agents who are trending downward and can be flagged for follow-up and coaching.
